Registration is open for 8 week dance classes starting in February, 2026. 3 Classes are available for ages 3 up to 7. Classes run at the Steinbach Arts Council.
Mini Ballet (3 yrs old) - The perfect class for the little mover. This class is half an hour long and includes a very basic ballet introduction with warm ups and stretches, free dancing, and across the floor practice.
Primary Combo (4-5 yrs old) - A simple introduction to ballet and tap techniques. 45 minutes include warm ups and stretches, center and across the floor practice, and free dancing/creative movement.
Junior Combo Homeschool Class (6-7 yrs old) - This class will run Friday mornings for 1 hour. Half the class will be ballet and the other half tap. This is a great opportunity for kids to connect with other homeschoolers and partake in a dance class that does not take up that much needed family time in the evenings at home.
Don't let a dress code and shoes stop you from signing up! Dancewear is not strict. Ballet and tap shoes are highly recommended of course, but if you do not own, barefoot or socks is acceptable.
