What to Expect
Our jam-packed day will include:
β’ Skating, Snowshoeing, Kicksledding: Try out classic Canadian winter activities. Donβt own the gear? We offer skate, snowshoe, and kicksled rentals!
β’ Crokicurl Tournament: Create a team and sign up for our Crokicurl Tournament.
β’ Sleigh Rides: Take a ride on a one-horse open sleigh. Sleigh rides $2.
β’ Valentine Card Making: Bring your kids to make their own handmade Valentine card!
β’ Pioneer Demonstrations & Interpreting: Enjoy interpretation in the Gerhard Ens Gallery and various indoor Pioneer demonstrations in the Permanent Gallery.
β’ Storytime in the Semlin: Listen to the story of a Mennonite familyβs first winter in Manitoba.
β’ Snow Sculpting: Try your hand at creating a snow masterpiece! We provide the tools; you bring the creativity!
β’ Crokinole Tournament: Feeling competitive? Sign up for our Crokinole Tournament. (Not to get confused with the Crokicurl Tournament!)
β’ Hot Food Canteen: Warm up and fill up with a hot food canteen. (Menu & prices coming soon.)
β’ Light Show: Stay till 4pm to see our Light Show (Light Show is on every Saturday from 4pm-8pm from December β February).
