We would love to help you help your loved ones through dementia and the aging process. This class aims to equip you to look for the signs of dementia, and as give you next steps you can take with your loved ones. This class starts on January 15, and will run for four sessions on Thursdays starting at 7:00 pm. Childcare is available for kids ages 5-11. Sign up at eefc.ca/events to join the class.
We are bringing in a retired RN, Charleen Barkman, who specialized in the field of aging/dementia, to talk about the signs of aging/dementia followed by steps of care for these individauls in the first 2 evenings. David Driedger, will be speaking the third evening on stages of housing which are available for our seniors in the area. The last evening we will have lawyers here to talk about legal representatives to sign and make decisions for those who are not able to do so due to deteriorating health.
