This Indigenous Music Concert at the Niverville Community Fellowship at 85 - 2nd Street North in Niverville on Tuesday, September 30, at 7:00 p.m. will be both informative and inspirational, both educational and envisioning for the future. Jonathan Maracle from Deseronto, Ontario and his drummer Bill Pagaran from Alaska performed in Niverville for a Truth and Reconciliation Day Event one year ago, and people were pleasantly surprised to find a Concert of this caliber freely available to the public.
Singer/songwriter Jonathan Maracle's music releases ancient sounds that will bring down ancient strongholds of prejudice and misunderstanding. At the end of the Concert, people will feel more connected cross-culturally and cross-generationally at a deep heart level.
Also performing that evening will the Prairie Soul Dance Company from Niverville doing a creative dance number to Susan Aglukark's song, O Siem! There will be a time for cross-cultural connection and relationship afterwards over coffee and refreshments.
