Strength circuit training is a non-competitive, work at your own pace class that involves rotating through a series of exercises for a set amount of time choosing a number of repetitions that suits your level of fitness. This efficient, full-body workout method not only builds muscle strength and endurance but also improves cardiovascular health and promotes weight loss. By increasing your metabolic rate, it helps burn more calories even at rest. The varied movements enhance flexibility, joint mobility, balance and muscle tone. Additionally, strength circuit training boosts mental health by releasing stress-reducing endorphins and improving mood. It also prepares your body for everyday activities through functional fitness exercises. Performed in group settings, this training fosters a sense of community and provides social interaction and motivation, making it a holistic approach to overall fitness and well-being.
Classes are each Tuesday for 5 weeks.
NOTE: Yoga Classes also run on Tuesdays from 7:00 - 8:00 pm. If you sign up for both Strength and Yoga classes registration is only $23/participant + GST per night instead of $30 per night ($15+GST/participant/class).
