Our Fun Fast & Fit - Fitness Fiesta Bootcamp at Niverville Recreation & Wellness Center will feature varying intervals of intense cardio and/or strength exercises paired with active recovery. Every Monday we will focus on our cardiovascular fitness by practicing HIIT (High Intensity Internal Training) in which we will be performing short bursts of higher intensity exercise followed by lower intensity exercise for a number of cycles. Every Wednesday, the focus will be mainly on bodyweight full body strength training with a focus on a specific muscle group each week. During this day of the week, we will still be performing and working on our cardiovascular fitness, but the focus will be to build total body strength (muscle mass) - including your core!. This program includes fun, quick, simple, and high energy routines, all while listening to latin, pop and hip hop styling music ( you can help us pick the next song ). There’s always a modifier for every exercise, so you can start working hard from day one, no matter what your fitness level is to start with.
