Mennonite Heritage Village

Celebrate the 150th anniversary of Mennonites arriving in Manitoba this summer on August Long Weekend. Experience the life of the early Mennonites in Manitoba at our Pioneer Days festival! Witness pioneer demonstrations, steam-powered threshing, live music, and lots of good food as we share the stories of Manitoba Mennonite beginnings.

Enjoy pioneer demonstrations, including: Baking bread in the Outdoor Oven, Milling wheat in the Windmill, Blacksmithing, Ropemaking, Printing at the Print Shop, Steam-powered activities, Sawmill, and much more! Explore your family history with our experts in the Village Centre, and enjoy Horse Drawn Wagon rides and children’s activities, including the barrel train!
