Trunk or Treat, which is held in the Steinbach Elite Cheer parking lot (34062 Bush Farm Road, 33E), is an event where a group of volunteers decorate the trunks of their vehicles in the spirit of Halloween and hand out candy to those in attendance. It’s a fun and safe way to celebrate Halloween, especially for little children. It only take minutes to fill a bag with candy and everyone is encouraged to make their way into the gym where there will be organized Halloween games, dynamic cheerleading demonstrations with acrobatic stunts and tumbling, and a costume contest.
The trick or treating is free of charge but there will be a $5 fee for children interested in participating in the games within the gym. (There is no fee for spectators.) The money raised from this event will support the SEC teams attending various competitions throughout the 2019 season including Nationals which take place in Niagara Falls in April.
