Whether you want to get into physical shape, learn self-defence, cross-train, or become an athlete, Muay Thai and Kickboxing can benefit you. Intro to Muay Thai and Kickboxing will focus on fundamental techniques and skill development. This program features a progressive learning approach to defence, footwork, boxing, kicking, clinching and knees. Intense physical conditioning will be a part of each class and will help develop your overall athleticism. Classes will include a warmup, cardio and strength conditioning, skill/technique development, hitting Thai pads, and technical contact drills. Participants will require the following equipment to participate: Shorts, shirt, mouth guard, 14 or 16oz boxing gloves, hand wraps and shin guards. If you do not have your own, equipment can be purchased through the coach.
