The Phoenix Project: A survivors guide to starting over. This is a women's empowerment group designed to help women navigate the road to independence. We will explore resources, ideas, and practical solutions to help overcome the many barriers women face when starting over. We will be discussing topics such as dealing with emotions, re-building relationships with family and friends, co-parenting with your abuser, poverty, food insecurity, lack of safe housing, mental health, addictions, setting boundaries, and healthy relationships. Group runs for 8 weeks.
