Courses on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) provide the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies depending on the level of CPR chosen. Courses meet legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards, and include the latest CPR guidelines and training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
HOW BLENDED LEARNING WORKS:
Blended CPR C: 3 hours online learning (must be completed prior to class on your own time - an email will be sent by the Red Cross with login details within 24 hours of registering) + 3 hours in class teaching time.
Canadian Red Cross First Aid Instructor
3 year certification in CPR Level C (covers all ages)
Blended CPR Level C: 2 hours online learning and 2.5 hours teaching time (previous card must not have expired, and must have been issued by the Canadian Red Cross to qualify).
